​Get ready to hoist the sails and join us for a weekend of music, maritime culture, and community spirit at the 2025 ‘Chi Shanty Music Festival, happening June 7th & 8th in the beautiful Miramichi!

We’re proud to present a full lineup of incredible local talent, including The Grizzled Buccaneers, Raglan Road, Before the Mast, Dram & a Draw, Cameron Nickerson, Terry Whalen, and many more.

 

Performances run from 11:00am to 6:00pm each day.

Special Highlights:

• Cash BBQ Fundraiser hosted by the Nelson Doyle Dancers with delicious food available both days!

• Sword fighting interactive performance by the Grizzled Buccaneers on Saturday at 1:00pm on the historic Beaubears Island!

• Island Ferry Service by donation (weather permitting)

• Free admission for all, donations are gratefully accepted at the Interpretive Centre to help support future festivals and programming.

• Vendor market, including arts, jewelry, ice cream, clothing, candy, preserves, coffee, and so much more!
